Flying Fish Delaying Release Of Irish Potato Candy Stout Due To Government Shutdown

From Flying Fish:

It pains us to have to write this, but the government shutdown will prevent us from releasing this beer in cans as planned. We had submitted our label well in advance of the December 22nd shutdown, and we were in process to be approved. However, the shutdown occurred prior to our final approval for Irish Potato Candy Stout.

Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that we would not be able to proceed with over a month until release date, but alas.

We WILL save your reserved product for YOU as planned, and will communicate with you the instant we hear we can release the beer.

We are very sorry, and are equally disappointed. However, we thank you for your understanding and ongoing support. In the meantime, please join us at the tasting room (Friday 3-9 pm, Saturday 12-9 pm and Sunday 12-6 pm) to hang, have a pint and stock up on beer for next week's Big Game.

UPDATE 8 Feb 2019:

We may have been delayed by the shutdown, but the State of NJ came through and we are able to sell Irish Potato Candy Stout on draft and in 4-packs starting today at 3 pm.
If you had a reservation, see below for pick up directions. If you weren't able to snag a reservation, see below for waitlist and limited distro details too.
