This morning we get to see a new gose-style can coming from Ninkasi Brewing in Eugene, OR. This is Brightberry and it is a raspberry lime gose, and this unfiltered wheat ale with “just a touch” of sea salt is Ninkasi’s Northwest-take on the style. The beer will hit 4%-AbV & 9 IBU and you’re looking at the 12oz can. Stay tuned here for release info.
This 18 Oct 2018 update changes “Gose” to “Ale.”
This 6 Jan 2019 update from Ninkasi:
“The idea for this beer was to make a refreshing, fruit forward beer with a harmonious hint of coriander and sea salt that excite the palate for another sip,” said Ninkasi founding brewer and co-founder, Jamie Floyd in a statement.
With refreshing, delicate raspberry and lime notes and just a touch of sea salt, this unfiltered wheat ale is our Northwest take on a classic European beer style.
