Baxter Brewing Renames Celsius Summer Ale To Summer Swelter

From Baxter Brewing:

Like every year, the weather teases us with a few warm, sunny March days. Those preludes remind us of the impending hot summer days spent canoeing down a lazy river, hiking a favorite peak, or circling a campfire with good friends. And of course, enjoying a great summer beer!

Last year, we introduced our first seasonal beer, Celsius Summer Ale. This year, we're bringing the crisp, citrus taste back to cans, now with a new name: Summer Swelter. Eliciting feelings of refreshment on sweltering hot summer days, Summer Swelter will quench any thirst.

Look for Summer Swelter on shelves beginning in late April. Same beautiful can, same tasty beer, brand new name:
Summer Swelter.

Construction Update

Moving right along

In late January, construction began on the 400% capacity expansion at Baxter Brewing Company, and we're happy to report that things are moving along well.

A few weeks ago, workers poured the concrete foundation for "The Bunker," a ginormous concrete cave where the bases of six 240-barrel fermenting tanks will rest. This week, workers are scheduled to pour concrete for the roof of the bunker and begin adding in electricity and piping. The new 25-foot-tall fermenting tanks should arrive and be installed in the first week of April.

What does this mean? It means that by this summer, we'll have doubled our finished beer capacity. That means more beer for you, including Summer Swelter, and of course, Stowaway IPA!
