In a Perfect Beer World – One Last Reminder

Smiley I posted out THIS a few weeks ago asking what we, as beer lovers, want to see in our beer bars, craft beer distributors and local breweries.  The response has been amazing, it’s also been exciting to see the common themes that everyone is asking for.  I’ll be compiling this over the next few weeks, but I wanted to offer up one last reminder to contribute your ideas.  Come on beer lovers…in a perfect beer world, what do we want?

  1. Better selection in most of the local establishments and an end to the Miller Light & Coors Light love.

  2. Please be more specific Anon. More quantity or better quality beers? Bottles taps or both? While I don;t drink Coors/Miller, I'm all in favor of serving whaatever pays the bills so the bar can afford better beers for me. Please elaborate

  3. Better draft craft beer selections. It's hard to believe that at most establishments the closest craft you can get is bluemoon.

More free samples offered if you are unsure you want to make a full pint committment.

I'd also like to see experimentation with craft mixing menus. Just think, a 5 craft beer handles may produce 15+ unique tasting combos. I realize the purest may not agree, but imagine the potential!

Obvious but very sad...A BREW PUB IN WILKES-BARRE. Love the Berwick Brewery concept. Maybe a second location Guy? I'm amazed at how smaller metro areas in PA are sustaining one or more brew pubs.

  4. While I think this is mainly aimed at craft beer bars that already have a good selection, I am also interesting in some of the mixing (which some bars DO already) and of course a WB Craft Brewpub
