Tröegs Introduces Sunshine Salt + Lime Lager to Its Rotating Once-a-Year Series

From Tröegs:

HERSHEY, PA  – Tröegs Independent Brewing announces the release of Sunshine Salt + Lime Lager.   zzubreebym

Introduced last year as an exclusive beer in the Summer of Sunshine variety pack, this citrusy lager joins Tröegs’ rotating Once-a-Year series, which also includes iconic beers like Mad Elf, Nugget Nectar, and Nimble Giant.

“We brewed a Scratch batch back in the summer of 2023 and loved the results,” explains Tröegs co-founding brother and brewmaster John Trogner. “We decided to include it in our 2024 summer variety pack, and many of our fans said it was the standout beer.”

Sunshine Salt + Lime Lager starts with a combination of pilsner malt and flaked rice to lend a crisp, clean flavor profile. The addition of zesty lime and kosher salt ties in those beach vibes.

At just 4.3% ABV, this bright and citrusy lager will transport you to the shore.

“This is definitely the beer you want in hand while you’re vacationing at the beach,” says Trogner.

Sunshine Salt + Lime Lager is now available on draft and in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans across the brewery’s entire distribution footprint. Beer drinkers can locate this and other Tröegs beers near them using the Tröegs Brew Finder.

Look for Sunshine Salt + Lime Lager – plus three exclusive beers – in the forthcoming Summer of Sunshine variety 15-pack, available everywhere Tröegs beer is sold starting April 28.
