Today we’re taking an exciting new protein snack for a test drive. I’m talking about Scott’s Protein Balls and I think when you see how many flavors they have and just how good they taste, you’ll be a believer like me.

Scott’s Protein Balls have been a pleasant addition to not only my work day snack routine but on the trail as well. As someone who follows a plant based lifestyle and who seeks out clean food, it has always been hard to find packaged food that is clean, plant based, and tastes good. Scott’s protein balls meet all of my criteria. Founded by a husband and a wife who was diagnosed with breast cancer, Scott’s protein balls were the result of two people who wanted to eat a healthier diet that also tastes good.

As Scott’s puts it, “When Lori, the CEO and Founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer, her husband Scott began creating protein ball snacks to support her health journey. What started in their kitchen became a sensation, and now Scott’s Protein Balls are available in over 325 stores across the Tri-State area and online.”

While I do bring these to work as a midday snack, I absolutely love to bring these on the trail. A sweet, tasty, energizing snack is much appreciated during the work day, but nothing beats a sweet treat on the trail. Having a treat that also offers 6-7 grams of protein per package, is even better. For the trail, these protein balls give granola bars a run for their money; it’s hard to find a granola bar with 7 or more grams of protein, not to mention the preservatives, gluten, and processed ingredients that most granola bars contain.

Scott’s protein balls are made with whole organic ingredients such as flaxseed, chia seed, cacao, and peanut butter. They also come in a fun variety of flavors such as Confetti, Mint Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Java Peanut Butter, Brownie Batter, and Peanut Butter Cacao (my favorite).

While it is recommended that you refrigerate these protein balls, I brought them on the trail with me for an hours-long hike, and while they were not refrigerated in my pack, they tasted just fine when I ate them on my snack breaks. My favorite flavors are Peanut Butter Cacao, Snickerdoodle, and Confetti. I especially love the Java Peanut Butter for morning hikes and for work snack breaks as the taste is rich and coffee-like.

If you are looking for a fulfilling, delicious, clean, plant based snack that delivers 7 grams of protein, try these protein balls. Not only do they deliver a satisfying taste and provide energy and satiation, but you can rest assured that you are not harming your body by eating something laden with chemicals and processed, questionable ingredients. These protein balls are not only healthy, but you will actually look forward to eating them as they are delicious too!

Scott’s Protein Balls are available now in various sizes and flavors so be sure to try them for yourself… and when you do try them, be sure to let us know what YOU think.   zzubreebym
