These Gibson Garage Nashville events are live from the state-of-the-art stage located on the main floor of the Gibson Garage, and are free and open to the public.

Marty Schwartz “Back to Basics” live guitar lessons

Marty Schwartz or as he’s better known online as, Marty Music, has been the face of guitar education on the internet for the last decade and a half. With nearly 4 million YouTube subscribers, over two billion video views, and a career longer than most rock bands, Marty has arguably taught more people how to play guitar than anyone else in the world. Marty Schwartz has arguably taught more people how to play guitar than anyone else in the world. If the guitar is the “people’s instrument” then Marty is the “people’s instructor.” Marty has been a school music teacher, a private guitar instructor, and has cut his teeth touring in some serious rock bands. As a result, Marty’s approach to teaching guitar is far from formal. His love for the guitar is undeniable and he infuses every pupil with that same fire. Beginning his career early in YouTube’s history, Marty’s impact has grown as the platform has grown. As the role of the guitar has shifted in music throughout the years, Marty has remained a core and constant voice of the culture. It’s clear that Marty has found his true calling as a guitar educator and he’ll undoubtedly continue to cultivate new and surprising guitar talents. Tristan Trincado “Live From the Garage”

An 18 year old singer songwriter from Carbondale, Colorado. Tristan Trincado has been playing guitar and singing for a little over a year and a half. He originally tried picking up guitar a few years ago and couldn't make any progress in a month so he dropped it. Fast forward a couple years and after being diagnosed with a TBI (traumatic brain injury), he decided to try music again. Within two hours this time around, he was able to learn two songs. Tristan says, “It all came so naturally, my TBI gave me the gift to learn and understand music on an entirely new level.” Tristan’s music is a cross between folk and country with inspiration from some of his favorite players including Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Bruce Springsteen, and Johnny Cash.

Savannah Rae is an all-American country singer-songwriter who proudly hails from San Antonio, Texas. Born into a music and arts loving family, Savannah’s own journey to becoming a fast-rising entertainer and songwriter was inspired by a trip to an Evanescence concert in 2009.
Not long after that, at age 11, she enrolled in vocal and guitar lessons at GRAMMY® award winning Michael Morales’ Rockstar Academy. Flash forward a few years, Savannah has given performances in intimate venues around the country, all the way to the main stage of the Texas State Fair where she opened for Jason Aldean, and again at Country Fest in Wisconsin, to the New Mexico State Fair opening for Mark Chesnutt, and then to playing her first sold out stadium show with Jon Pardi in El Paso, TX. She’s also made appearances on the American Music Awards, and on NBC’s The Voice, along with being a brand ambassador for Boot Barn, Country Outfitter, C Force Water by Chuck Norris, Miranda Lambert's clothing line, Idyllwind, Levy's Guitar Straps, Gator Cases, and many more.
Throughout the year, Savannah will continue to release a series of new songs that she wrote with iconic Nashville songwriters Britton Cameron, Holly Lamar, Drew Womack, and country music icon Pam Tillis. Savannah's previous tracks have propelled her to win the Dirt Road FM Award for Country Riser of the Year.

Additionally, Jared's talents extend to the realms of Nashville session and touring work, where he has lent his guitar skills to various artists and projects. Jared's performances are a testament to his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of his craft, captivating audiences with his innovative and dynamic sound.
