FRESH HOP SEASON
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Our 2023 Fresh Hop beer is here! This year, we used Strata hops from Roy Farms in Moxee, WA. Andy Roy and his family consistently produce top-tier hops and produce, and their Strata is the industry standard featuring flavors that are dank and sticky with pineapple, tangerine and fresh strawberry top notes.
Our Fresh Hop Strata NW IPA is packed with Washington grown grains from the Skagit Valley and from the Palouse layering on top for a defined golden cracker note, middle flavors of warm biscuit, fresh brown bread and a honeyed, nutty sweetness. Flaked barley rounds out the top with a rich grain aroma and creamy mouthfeel on the mid-palate.
This is a typical NW style IPA, not exactly clear, but not exactly hazy. It is generously fresh hopped with Strata and dry hopped with more Roy Strata supported in smaller amounts by Bravo, Chinook and Citra to buoy those dank and fruit notes.
After a little exclusivity in our taprooms, Fresh Hop Strata NW IPA is coming at you this week! Is it on tap at your favorite bar?
