This morning I have your very first peek at an exciting new collaboration coming from Offshoot Beer (aka The Bruery) in Placentia, CA. This is ///Dolphins.Escape.Bikes and it will be a collab with Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA. The beer will use the what3words naming scheme like Stone’s previous ///Fear.Movie.Lions. If you’re not familiar, these three words will point geographically to The Bruery in Placentia, CA. The beer will be a juicy IPA with kiwi and watermelon that hits 6.3%-AbV and you’re looking at the 16oz can. Stay tuned for full release details.
This 1 Aug 2023 update from Offshoot:
///DOLPHIN.ESCAPE.BIKES
Hazy IPA | 6.3% ABV
We know what you’re thinking: dolphin what? When we sat down with our friends at Stone Brewing to plan this collab beer, we felt it only fitting to get inspired by their use of what3words—an innovative approach to location tracking which assigns each 3m x 3m square of the world into a three word address—to name this beer. So now you know: the best way to describe The Bruery and Offshoot’s brewhouse is ///Dolphin.Escape.Bikes!
To pair with its unique and innovative naming convention, we crafted ///Dolphin.Escape.Bikes with Cashmere and Sultana hops for fruity, citrusy character, then dry-hopped with El Dorado and New Zealand Nelson Sauvin for additional sweet fruit and nearly vinous notes. The addition of sweet kiwi and bright watermelon bring this juicy IPA to life. Enjoy with friends!
It's finally back in stock (…for now)! Grab your 4 pack before it's gone again.
