From Tröegs:
Happy birthday to us!
It all started on July 18, 1997, when a modest microbrewery in Harrisburg, PA, sold its first pint of beer. That beer was Tröegs Pale Ale, and it helped get our little brewery off the ground. So, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 25th anniversary than with a nod to our humble beginnings. zzubreebym
As a thank-you for your support over the years, we’ll release three throwback beers – Tröegs Pale Ale, Oatmeal Stout and E.S.B. Ale – all of which will be available exclusively at the brewery. Look for Pale Ale and Oatmeal Stout on tap in our Tasting Room starting Monday, July 18, with E.S.B. Ale following on Thursday, July 21. We’ll even have a limited run of 16-oz. cans of Pale Ale – dubbed “25 Years: Birthday Pale Ale” – available in our General Store along with some sweet retro T-shirts and sticker packs.
Whether you’ve been with us for the long haul or you’ve just recently discovered our beer, we thank you for drinking Tröegs! Here’s to the next quarter century of brewing in Central PA. Cheers!

Meanwhile, Tröegs has been under perpetual construction and building for the future. A new parking lot was recently unveiled, and interior murals celebrating its community partnerships are currently under way. Slated for completion this fall, the brewery’s new canning line will increase the production speed, capacity, and quality of its canned beer.
“We’ve been under construction for 25 years,” says John Trogner. “That’s what we love to do – continuously improve and expand. We’re always thinking about what we can do in the next year, the next five years, the next 20 years to make the brewery better as a whole.”
