Almanac Adding Dream Sequence 01

Almanac Adding Dream Sequence 01

Here we have a new beer coming to bottles from Almanac Beer in Alameda, CA. This is Dream Sequence 01 and it will be a mixed-culture fermented farmhouse ale that is aged in oak barrels. The beer will hit 5.4%-AbV and you’re looking at the 12.68oz bottle.  Stay tuned for release info.

This 1 May 2020 Update from Almanac:

Dream Sequence is a masterful blend of several mixed-culture fermented farmhouse beers that were aged in oak barrels for months. Each barrel was hand-selected by our Brewmaster and was chosen to highlight big tropical and citrus flavors all in harmony with a soft acidity and delicate touch of nuanced oak. Amazingly, this bright and tropical blend has no fruit or other adjuncts added to it, creating the perfect showcase for the amazing flavors created by mixed-fermentation.

Brewmaster Phil Emerson:

"Dream Sequence was blended to highlight as much fruit expression as we could coax out of select non-fruited, oak-aged barrels. We chose only those few barrels and foudres that we considered appropriately flavorful and aromatic amongst our library. Flavors and aromas of tropical pineapple and ripe pear leap from the glass with an invigorating citrus-zest finish."

Dream Sequence is available EXCLUSIVELY for the month of May ONLINE NOW, in two awesome sour beer mixed packs: Barrel Blend Pack and Farm to Barrel Mixed Pack! Also available for pick up 12-7pm EVERY DAY at the Alameda Taproom.
