Samuel Adams Kosmic Sour Coming To Cans & Bottles

Samuel Adams Kosmic Sour Coming To Cans
This morning we get our first peek at a new can coming from Samuel Adams in Boston, MA.  This is Kosmic Sour and it begins life the original Kosmic Mother Funk (KMF)--and “ale spontaneously fermented and aged for two-years.”  This limited release tart & wild ale will hit 4.6%-AbV & 11 IBU and you’re looking at the 12oz Sam can (12oz bottle below).  As a bonus I’ve added in the 12oz Sam can & 12oz bottles for Octoberfest limited release rich & balances traditional Märzen  (5.3%-AbV, 16 IBU).

  1. Hey so is this supposed to be the secondary seasonal to octoberfest or is it something different?

  2. Just tried this. I do not like Belgian sours, but this was a very nice surprise. You will swear it is infused with a fruit but it is all part of the fermentation process. The epitome of a good craft brew.

  3. I am a big fan of so many of the varieties of Sam Adam's beers. I have given this new Kosmic Sour a chance, but have to say it's the worst thing I've ever tasted. I understand that there are those with differing opinions and I'm sure that's how this beer made it into the Fall variety pack, but please reconsider and replace it with something else....anything else!!!!
