Boulevard Zon Belgian-Style Witbier Returns For 2019

Zon Belgian-Style Witbier ReturnsFrom Boulevard:

Brewed annually since 2001 when Boulevard's Flemish-born Brewmaster, Steven Pauwels, brewed his first Belgian recipe in Kansas City, Zon Belgian-Style Witbier returns in six-packs of 12oz bottles (beginning in the Greater Kansas City Area) on Monday, April 1st.

By far our most award-winning beer with six medals at the Great American Beer Festival, Zon pays tribute to the crisp, lively farmhouse witbiers of Belgium. With a soft, airy malt base composed of pale malt, malted and unmalted wheat balanced by subtle bitterness from a blend of Topaz, Bravo and Columbus hops, Zon is delicately spiced with coriander and orange peel, traditional witbier spices. Fermentation with the famed Affligem Belgian yeast strain provides fruity notes of banana and citrus with subtle pepper and clove. Pouring a beautiful hazy golden color, Zon Belgian-Style Witbier serves as a welcome to the longer, warmer days of spring.
