From No-Li Brewhouse:
Spokane, USA…No-Li Brewhouse and Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood presented a $12,000 check to Rogers High School Principal, Lori Wyborney, celebrating their amazing academic successes and providing new uniforms for the football team.
Rogers High School and the Hillyard neighborhood are examples of the best of Spokane, building on the strength of the community.
Examples are:
- Rogers High School, once referred to in the Seattle PI as a dropout factory, has raised its graduation rate from 56% to 82% in the last 8 years.
- In the past two years, 76% of Rogers’ graduates have continued on to Technical Schools, Community College, or Universities.
"To help raise money and ultimately elevate the community and people of Rogers High School has been a really great experience." Said Bill Powers of No-LI at the ceremony. "Seeing their heart and hard work is a reflection of the neighborhood, the city, and inspires us to greatness as well. Today everyone bleeds Pirate purple."
