Ginger's Revenge announces official bottle release party for Lime Agave ginger beer
Asheville, NC – Ginger’s Revenge, Asheville’s first and only brewery focused on the production of alcoholic ginger beer, is releasing their second bottled ginger beer and will celebrate with an official bottle release party on Friday, July 6.
“Ginger’s Revenge Lime Agave is one of our most popular flavors, especially in the warmer months,” says David Ackley, Ginger’s Revenge co-founder and head brewer. “We’re excited for these bottles to be available just in time for summer.”
Ginger’s Revenge: Lime Agave is the brewery’s take on the traditional Moscow Mule cocktail, and is bright, citrusy, and refreshing. The beer is made with at least 95% organic ingredients: Hawaiian ginger, cane sugar, grapefruit juice, habanero pepper, spices, fresh lime juice, and a touch of agave for sweetness.
The official bottle release party will be on Friday, July 6. The celebration will include live music from local musician Wes Hight. Booty’s Meat Market Food Truck will be on site all day serving food specials. Special case pricing and prizes, including glassware and apparel, will be available all weekend.
Ginger’s Revenge opened in March 2017 and focuses on the production of different varieties of alcoholic ginger beer as well as small-batch grain-based beers. Bottles of Ginger’s Revenge Lime Agave join the already released bottles of Ginger’s Revenge Original.
In addition to being a refreshing brew on its own, Ginger’s Revenge Lime Agave also works as a great cocktail mixer. “We like to say Ginger plays well with others,” says Cristina Hall Ackley, Ginger’s Revenge co-founder. “The Lime Agave works well mixed with tequila, mezcal, bourbon, and other spirits. Many of our bar and restaurant accounts love using the Lime Agave in specialty cocktails.”
Bottles of Ginger’s Revenge are available for purchase at the brewery’s tasting room and in a variety of locations in and around Asheville. The company website keeps an updated list of all the locations where Ginger’s Revenge is available on tap and in bottles.
