Roadhouse Brewing Expands Distribution

Roadhouse Brewing Expands DistributionFrom Roadhouse Brewing:

Roadhouse Brewing Company, Jackson Hole’s local on-tap favorite, announces the bottling and distribution of beers beyond its local roots. Co-founders, the award-winning home-brewer and entrepreneur Colby Cox and chef/restaurateur Gavin Fine of Jackson Hole’s Fine Dining Restaurant Group, are thrilled to expand statewide within Wyoming and Idaho, as well as the Bozeman area of Montana-on and off-premise-with additional markets outside of the Rocky Mountain region scheduled for 2018 (www.roadhousebrewery.com).

Roadhouse Brewing Company is also slated to open a new brewpub facility, dubbed Roadhouse Pub & Eatery, on Jackson Hole’s prominent Town Square in Summer 2018, and has plans to begin California distribution in early 2018.

The initial bottling selection includes:

  • “Family Vacation” Blonde Ale, 4.9% abv
  • “Trout Whistle” American Pale Ale, 6.0% abv
  • “Wilson” West-Coast Style India Pale Ale, 7.5% abv
  • “Avarice & Greed” bottle-conditioned Belgian Golden Ale, 8.9% abv

A range of large-format specialty and barrel-aged bottles and rotating beers like the “Highwayman” Belgian Session Ale (5.0% abv); and “Loose Boots” India Pale Ale (5.0% abv) that Cox and Fine refer to as an “Après IPA,” best enjoyed slope-side

“Roadhouse draws inspiration from ancient Belgian brewing techniques as well as forward-thinking American styles,” says Cox. “Our beers evoke both the past and future with unusually complex flavor profiles that reveal themselves slowly and decisively, all while encapsulating our ‘Live Deep’ mantra and our passion for the outdoors inspired by Jackson Hole’s natural beauty and local way of life.”

“Our business strategy has always included offering packaged products and bringing our passion for the Roadhouse Brewing Company project to broader markets,” says Fine. “Distributing beyond our local borders enables us to offer a wider spectrum of beer styles to a greater customer base, while also instilling our culture of community involvement and fervor for craft beer into these new territories.”

Cox and Fine built a production facility at 1225 Gregory Lane in Jackson Hole complete with German tanks and vintage wooden barrels, where the Brewery produces year-round, seasonal and collaboration brews. Each beer is crowned with a range of 106 distinctive and proprietary bottle caps, a surprise-and-delight effort to form a ‘Crown Club,’ encouraging fans to collect caps and engage via social media with #RBCOllectorcaps for prizes, keeping Roadhouse on the lips of craft beer drinkers everywhere.

“This is just the beginning,” notes Fine, “our company motto is to ‘Live Deep’, and we intend to keep that philosophy alive through the practices we pursue as brewers and entrepreneurs. The future of Roadhouse will include more artistic expression as it relates to the art and science of brewing, as well as enhanced regional partnerships and strategic growth.”

Colby Cox, Co-Founder and Brewmaster

Roadhouse Brewing Company Co-Founder and Brewmaster Colby Cox ignited his passion for craft beer working on the bottling line at Dogfish Head Brewery when he was 16, and grew his interest in small-batch brewing for many years as a competitive home-brewer. As a serial entrepreneur, he focuses on brand leadership, innovation, and disruption in all his pursuits. Despite owning a commercial brewery since 2012, he continues to label himself a home-brewer, and brings his passion and creativity for making great beer to everything he touches at Roadhouse.

Gavin Fine, Co-Founder

Roadhouse Brewing Company Co-Founder Chef Gavin Fine draws his inspiration from all over the world; he has earned the attention of the James Beard foundation and boasts five restaurants, a catering company, specialty grocer, artisan ice cream brand and butcher shop in Jackson Hole. His presence in the development process can be felt in the complexity of experience in every beer created and the pairings that follow.
