Short’s Releasing Soft Parade Shandy, Autumn Ale & “Shmoble Shmaos”

Short’s Releasing Soft Parade Shandy, Autumn Ale & “Shmoble Shmaos”More great craft beer releases…this time from Short’s Brewing in Elk Rapids, MI:

It’s the final week of August and what are we doing? Releasing a slew of Short’s brews, of course!

Yesterday, we announced the first ever bottling of Soft Parade Shandy – one last summertime blend to grace your taps and coolers before we settle in for Autumn. And today, we give you Autumn Ale! A nod to the season gently knocking on our proverbial door, this Extra Special Bitter is here to usher your taste buds into fall.

Autumn Ale (5.9% ABV – 45 IBU) is an English-style Extra Special Bitter (ESB). It has a medium body, amber colour, and full flavor. This beer exhibits a wonderful balance of malty sweetness and earthy, herbal hop bitterness. Autumn Ale won a silver medal at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival.

Don’t let the style of Autumn Ale concern you, this slightly hoppy Amber Ale is smooth, malty, and well-balanced. Perfect for a day of outdoor adventures or a cozy night in by the fire, Autumn Ale sixers are ready to head home with you today. Find this harvest time seasonal on tap and in bottles throughout our expanded Great Lakes Region distribution footprint now through October.----

P.S. We’ve got one last new fall release headed to the Pull Barn, pub, and Short’s Mart in bottles this Friday. We’ll give you a hint, it rhymes with “Shmoble Shmaos.” Any guesses?
