Amalgam Brewing Releasing Amalgam Ascension First Sour Beer 9/9

A new craft beer coming from Amalgam Brewing  in Niwot, CO:

Niwot, CO , August 28, 2017 – Amalgam Brewing launches their

first sour beer to the public on September 9th. Ascension is a Golden Sour Ale which was fermented and aged in neutral and freshly

emptied chardonnay barrels. “We feel Ascension is the perfect beer to showcase our house culture. The interplay between the oak/

chardonnay, stone fruit and sharp acidity with a dry finish is a pro- file we can’t get enough of” says Co-Owner Eric Schmidt, “look for

this culture to be a consistent presence in future releases.”

Ascension will only be available on Saturday, September 9th at Small Batch Liquors (4340 Tennyson St, Denver, CO 80212) as part of Amalgam’s Gypsy Bottle Release project. Sales start at 11am.

375 ml bottle / $12.99 (+tax). Limit 6 bottles per person. 550 bottles will be available. Any remaining bottles will be held for special

events.
