From Karbach:
The Robert Garner Firefighter Foundation (RGFF) and Karbach Brewing Company will host the third annual Karbach Cookoff on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. at Lucky’s Pub in downtown Houston. Entertainment includes headliner Aaron Lewis, Tracy Byrd and Sundance Head.
“We are thankful for the opportunity to gather together for a great cause, and to work toward RGFF’s mission of inspiring and educating tomorrow’s heroes today. We’re looking forward to a great day with fellow firefighters, the Houston community and the talented musicians coming out to support us!” Quincy Wade, RGFF President and founder, says.
Blake Robertson, co-owner and founder of Karbach Brewing Company is proud to partner with RGFF for a third consecutive year, saying, “This event features three things near and dear to our hearts: great music, great food and great beer. More importantly though, this event will raise funds for those men and women who are selfless enough to put themselves in the line of danger every day to protect our families. I think that is something we can all raise a glass to.”
Funds raised at the event will go toward textbooks for individuals studying fire science and technology, the Robert Garner Fire Academy, the Robert Garner Mentorship program and other RGFF Initiatives.
