MILWAUKEE (May 11, 2016) – On May 19, the 3rd annual Milwaukee Beer Summit will bring leading craft brewers from across the United States together to discuss industry trends and product plans with regional retailers as well as unveil new products. The event will be held at Lakefront Brewery, and will feature sampling by more than 20 craft breweries, as well as a panel discussion with industry luminaries such as Tom Cardella, John Leinenkugel and Russ Klisch.
The Milwaukee Beer Summit is an invitation-only event and is not open to the public. It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with the panel discussion beginning at 4. Journalists are invited to submit questions to the panel, which will be moderated by Evan Hughes of Draft Magazine .
Craft breweries from Massachusetts to Alaska are taking part in the event, which was organized by Beer Capitol Distributing Co. The roster of participants is highlighted by some of the biggest craft brewing names in the nation, including Alaskan Brewing Co., Blue Moon Brewing Co., Boston Beer Co. (Samuel Adams), Leinenkugel’s Brewing, Sprecher Brewery, Ballast Point, Great Lakes Brewing Co., Stevens Point Brewery and Three Floyds Brewing Co. Other participating breweries include Titletown Brewing, Third Sign Brewery, Finch’s Beer Co., Hopothesis Beer Co., Lake Louie Brewing, Lakefront Brewery, Tyranena Brewing Co., Wisconsin Brewing Co., Veterans Brewing and Island Orchard Cider.
“We are excited to bring leading craft brewers together with our retailers,” said Beer Capitol’s Aldo Madrigrano. “Craft beer is a continuing growing segment in the food/beverage industry, and enhancing the dialogue between manufacturers and retailers will be a key to sustaining this momentum.”
