From Ommegang:
We’ve finished brewing our latest Game of Thrones-inspired beer, Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale, and the beer is now working its way from distributors to your favorite stores and bars. There are always a lot of questions about how to get the Game of Thrones-inspired beers and it’s proved helpful for us to post search tips for both pro-beer seekers and those new to the sport. We know there’s a huge demand for this beer series so we brewed 74 brews of Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale which is the equivalent of about 545,000 bottles or nearly 90,000 gallons of beer.
Unlike previous releases in our Game of Thrones-inspired series, there’s no specific release date for Seven Kingdoms. The beer is now available in many locations across the country. If you are in the Cooperstown area, Seven Kingdomsis in stock at the brewery store and we’re open daily from 12-5 pm.
Ommegang is currently not distributed in North Dakota, South Dakota, Mississippi, West Virginia, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming so unfortunately Seven Kingdoms will not be for sale in these states. Outside of the United States, Seven Kingdoms will be available in Ontario, Canada. There is not currently a release date set for Canada. We’re working with our distributor there and we’ll update this post when we have one.
We have a beer finder that will show the locations that the beer has been sold to. The beer finder works by aggregating sales data from the distributor and it is uploaded often a few days after the sale into the account. With the great demand it might even be sold out by the time it is listed on our beer finder, so we strongly encourage you to call your local retailers in advance.
It is illegal for us to sell online or directly to customers who are not at the brewery, so we cannot do any online orders. There are a few websites that are allowed to sell beer directly to fans and we will post those here as they come in. For starters, check out Craftshack.com.
Lastly, our awesome sales teams are hosting a variety of launch events to celebrate the arrival of the new beer. You can visit our event page on Facebook to see if there’s an event near you.
