Ashland, VA, March 28 2016 It’s no secret that the team at Center of the Universe loves hops. From their flagship beer, Pocahoptas to the delightfully hoppy Pale Ale, Ray Rays, the hops are strong with this brewery. On April 2nd, COTU will be releasing a new addition to their lineup: Black Dawn Black IPA, a complex, hoppy, and rich brew.

What is a pint of Black Dawn like? As the sun rises up on a spring morning, rays of sunshine pierce through the lingering fog. The Black roasty morning is shaken with tropical bursts of mango, tangerine, and passion fruit. As the day awakens, the flavors meld together forming the perfect, BLACK DAWN.

This luscious, rich IPA clocks in at 9.5% ABV and 66 IBUs. The beer will be available at the brewery on Saturday, April 2nd on draft and in 750ML bottles. No Growler fills. Doors open at 1pm with food from Firehouse BBQ and music from The Royal We at 4pm.
