Deschutes Brewery is excited to announce that they were able to give approximately $860,000 to charitable organizations across their distribution area in 2015. Several different giving programs, including a few new ones, contributed to this amount, which was triple the amount donated in 2014.

  • Ongoing commitment dedicating $1 per barrel sold to deserving nonprofits exceeded $335,000.
  • Street Pub – a successful new event platform that traveled to seven different cities across the nation, setting up a “block party” for one day – donated 100% of proceeds to local nonprofit partners. In total, this new initiative raised nearly $400,000.
  • Community Pints – a brand new program that takes place at the brewery’s public houses donates $1 for every pint sold on Tuesdays to a different charity each month.
  • Sponsorships and in-kind donations to charity events both in Oregon and across the brewery’s distribution footprint.

Committed to building a healthier society, Deschutes Brewery distributed funds to hundreds of organizations that focused on the environment, youth & education, family services, animals and those supporting arts and cultural activities.

A cross-departmental team of passionate co-owners guide community giving for the company, carefully evaluating where donations can have the most impact. Employees are also encouraged to participate in volunteer opportunities each quarter.
