Jesse Houck Hired As Director of Brewery Operations at Maui Brewing

Kihei, Hawaii (Jan. 7, 2016) - Maui Brewing Co. is excited to announce that Jesse Houck has become part of their Ohana as their new Director of Brewery Operations.  Jesse most recently worked at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles as their Brewmaster for nearly three years.  Jesse started his career in 2003 as a Brewer at Speakeasy Ales & Lagers in San Francisco, and worked several years at 21st Amendment Brewery.

"I am beyond stoked to be working with such a strong leader as Garrett and the talented team he has assembled here on Maui," stated Jesse Houck.

"I've known Jesse for most of my career in craft beer and have always been impressed with his brewing talent, and proud to call him a friend.  I'm stoked to have him at the helm of our brewing operations and we're looking forward to some awesome projects coming down the pipe," added Founder and CEO Garrett Marrero.

Maui Brewing Co. is a craft brewery based on Maui and is Hawaii's largest craft brewer. MBC operates a production brewery and tasting room in Kihei, as well as a brewpub in Kahana, and creates more than 50 different styles of craft beer on a rotating basis. Maui Brewing Co. is available in 15 states and 13 international countries with more areas to follow. Founded in 2005 Maui Brewing Co. brews 100% of its beer in Hawaii, and brewed approximately 40,000 barrels in 2015.
