From Reuben’s Brews:
Seattle, WA - Reuben’s Brews will partner with Dickerson Distributors to add Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan Counties in northern Washington state.
“We’re excited to be working with Dickerson,” says co-founder and head brewer Adam Robbings. “Like us, they’re a small, family-owned business and it’s important to us to support family-owned businesses whenever possible. We’re working on steadily expanding our distribution around the Pacific Northwest and I know they’ll do a great job of getting our brews to more beer lovers.”
Last week, a few pallets of Reuben’s Brews arrived in the United Kingdom for distribution there.
“My friends and family back in the UK have been asking to get our beer and we finally managed to do it!” says Robbings, a native of the London area. “We’re working with Left Coast Distribution on putting together a UK-wide launch. That’s still in process, but watch this space!”
Reuben’s Brews continues to expand its footprint, gradually, across the Pacific Northwest. The brewery’s production has expanded from 830 barrels in 2014 to an estimated 2,500 barrels in 2015, and it expects to hit around 6,000 barrels in 2016.
“Although we have and will continue to increase production, we’ll always be a small brewery that puts the beer first,” explains Robbings. “We’d love our beer to be available throughout the Pacific Northwest, but can’t get ahead of ourselves. We need to be thoughtful and realistic about expanding distribution and only do it when we have the beer and resources to do it properly.”
