From Jester King:
We’re excited to announce this year’s Jester King Funk n’ Sour Fest! The event will again be a chance to present food and drink pairings created by some of our very favorite central Texas restaurants, and producers of artisan beer, wine, and cider from around the world. It will take place at Jester King Brewery on Thursday, October 29th during Austin Beer Week from 7pm to 10pm.
This year, we’re thrilled to have created what we believe is an exceptional lineup of participants that will lead to a truly one of a kind event. The following twelve restaurants will create dishes paired with beer, wine or cider from the following artisan producers:
Antonelli’s Cheese Shop with Texas Keeper Cider
Contigo with Blue Owl Brewing Co.
Gardner with Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales
The Granary with Jester King Brewery
The Hollow with Jester King Brewery
La Condesa with Freetail Brewing Co.
Lenoir with La Cruz de Comal Wines
The Mercantile with Argus Cidery
The Monterey with 5 Stones Artisan Brewery
Noble Sandwich Co. with Brouwerij De Ranke
Salt & Time with Stillwater Artisanal, and
Salty Sow with Lewis Wines
Again, we’re really excited to be able to host a special event like this where some of the very best restaurants in central Texas get to team-up with some of our favorite breweries, wineries, and cideries.
In an effort to create a relaxed, laid back environment to enjoy the unique event, guests are free to revisit the various pairings multiple times while supplies last. Unlike last year where guests were limited to trying each pairing only once, there will be no check cards this time around! Guests can enjoy walking the grounds around Jester King from tent to tent enjoying the various pairings as they please and revisiting their favorites.
Tickets to the event are $85 and can be purchased HERE. Only 300 tickets are available.
We hope you’ll join us on the 29th for this one of kind event that celebrates the exciting connections between artisan food and drinks!
