"The deepest spot in the Earth's oceans is called the Mariana Trench. We thought the darkest depths of the planet would make the perfect name for this big, dark stout. Our Mariana Trench won the gold medal for "Best Imperial Stout" in the 2014 Best Florida Beer Championship but we didn't stop there," Mike Halker explains. "By aging it in Four Roses Bourbon barrels, we've created a big, complex beer with a delicious balance of chocolate and bourbon."
Tacos Veracruz food truck will be at the brewery noon to 5 and Spring In Roll Out and Dough Dough's Donuts trucks will be there 5 to 10. The brewery opens at noon and 22oz. bottles will be for sale immediately for $20 each with a limit of 2 per person. The first 50 people to purchase a bottle will also get a free poster of the Bourbon Barrel Aged Mariana Trench label signed by head brewer and brewery founder, Mike Halker.
