Beverage dispensing equipment manufacturer Micro Matic completes annual holiday charity campaign with $19,775 donation to veterans charity organization Operation Homefront.
Brooksville, FL - February 10, 2014/mbb/ - Micro Matic USA, Inc. continued a holiday tradition of recognizing those that have served in the U.S. armed forces by supporting the veterans charity organization Operation Homefront. The annual Micro Matic “Gives Back” campaign started in 2011. The campaign ended December 31, 2013 with 5% of every online order for a donation of $19,775. This support comes at a time when Operation Homefront has seen an increase for requests for financial, housing and food assistance over last year.
“We are encouraged by the outpouring of support from our customers and employees. 2013 was the third year of our “Gives Back” campaign and we are pleased to show another increase in the percentage of sales donated to Operation Homefront.” said John Soler, Managing Director.
"We're grateful that Micro Matic and its customers have once again showed their commitment to military families by supporting Operation Homefront," said Tim Farrell, Chief Operating Officer for the nonprofit. "We look forward to many more holiday seasons of working together to assist our men and women in uniform."
“Supporting charities on both national and local community levels is an integral part of the vision of Micro Matic being a good corporate citizen; the “Gives Back” campaign is an example of our commitment and continued support of this mission,” said Torben Toftegaard, President of Micro Matic USA, Inc.
