From Lakewood Brewing:

DALLAS – This Valentine’s Day, Lakewood Brewing Company will seduce milk stout lovers all over DFW with a limited quantity release of a raspberry-infused version of the ever-popular Temptress Imperial Milk Stout. With a release date of February 10, this special batch will be available only on tap at select bars and restaurants around DFW.

“Raspberries have been used in craft beers for a very long time, even dating back to early Belgium,” said Wim Bens, founder and president of Lakewood Brewing Company. “Framboise, or Belgian lambic beers were fermented using raspberries. In that spirit, we modified the concept by simply adding fresh raspberry puree to The Temptress post-fermentation. So, it’s still the same milk stout, just infused with the flavor of raspberries.”

Raspberry Temptress possesses all the complex richness of The Temptress with a silky feel and rich, malty hints of chocolate and caramel. Subtle hints of raspberries are revealed, adding a touch of tartness to the sweetness of this imperial milk stout with an ABV of 9.1%.

Bens added, “There is something about the unique flavors of raspberries that works well in beers. And let’s be honest, raspberries and chocolate together just makes sense.”

Most bars and restaurants that will carry Raspberry Temptress already serve Temptress. For a full list, beer lovers can get up to date information on Lakewood Brewing Company’s Facebook page or on Twitter.
