Introducing Intangible Ales - A New Project From Terry Hawbaker & Kristen Mullen

I’m real excited to bring you the news of Intangible Ales….and I’m even more excited to let you know that this new venture was created by our friends Terry Hawbaker & Kristen Mullen.

Intangible Ales is a new project created to brew eclectic, rustic and wild beers combining Terry’s passion for brewing and Kristen’s passion for photography (Watch for Kristen’s cool label art!)  While Terry continues to brew at Pizza Boy, Terry & Kristen will be sharing space with Pizza Boy to brew and bottle most of their beers.  Most releases will be in bottles, however there will be some occasional draft as well.

The first beer was brewed as a collaboration with Bob Sylvester at Saint Somewhere Brewing Company in Florida, on December 27, 2013. The beer is a Belgian-style saison brewed with kumquats and peppercorns with a hint of sage and ginger. This beer will be bottled and it is going to have the same look as the regular Saint Somewhere bottles, but with the Intangible Ales logo and artwork added. The Beer will be named Soleil Rêverie and it should be out sometime mid-February to early March in bottles and potentially kegs. Saint Somewhere recently debuted the beer at the Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival in Jupiter, FL and it will also be featured at Cigar City Brewing’s 5th annual Hunahpu’s Day release party on March 8th!

In case you’re worried…this beer will likely also have an NEPA premier so stay tuned.

You can find Intangible Ales on Facebook as well as Twitter (@intangibleales) and Twitter (intabgibleales).
