Knee Deep Coming To 16 New States & International In 2014

From Knee Deep Brewing:

After the madness of trying to put a brewery together from scratch, we have finally sat down and decided which states will be serving our beer. That is, once we finally complete our first batch on our new 40 barrel system. This is a little sneak peak of which direction we might be headed, and of course we cannot announce who will be distributing for us. But here is a little teaser for all you Knee Deep connoisseurs -

We are also very excited to announce that Knee Deep will be going international sometime in 2014.

Brewery Expansion Update:
Its been a long couple months for the Knee Deep team as we all have been working really hard building out the new brewery in Auburn, CA while maintaining production at our Lincoln, CA location. As of today, we have installed all of the fermenters (4x60 bbl. & 1x90 bbl.), brite tanks (1x60 bbl. & 1x 90 bbl.), main production brew system (4 vessel system), 90 bbl. hot liquor tank, hop dosing tanks, hop back, grain mill, grist tank, CIP system, 1.8 million BTU hour boiler, control systems for brewhouse and cellar, and all electrical.  Our new brew system is a 40 bbl. brew system that will allow us to brew 30 barrel high S.G. brews and 40 barrel low S.G. beers. (S.G. = Starting Gravity).   We will start brewing on the new system during the second week of December.  Did we mention the expansion includes 2000 sqft. for barrel aging.
