From Upslope:

BOULDER, COUpslope Brewing Company Christmas Ale is back and coming down the chimney just in time for the holidays. The Limited Release spiced Belgian-style Dubbel will decorate Colorado shelves starting Nov. 4 in four-packs of 16 oz. cans.

“Born out of one of my homebrew recipes, our Christmas Ale has grown into the perfect beer to bring to any holiday party,” said Upslope Founder, Matt Cutter. “Now an Upslope winter tradition, we look forward to staying nice and toasty when this one comes around.”

In true Christmas fashion, the beer pours deep red with a thick off-white headstand that is laced like garland on the glass with every sip. A blend of holiday spices creates an aroma that is complemented by the dark fruits and spicy notes from the Abbey Ale Yeast. These notes then carry through to the rich malt flavor of this medium bodied ale. Weighing in at 8.2% abv, this beer is sure to keep you warm all winter long.

“Pre-wrapped” in a festive 16 oz. can, Upslope Christmas Ale is perfect for spreading Christmas cheer. Don’t put off sampling this one like you will your holiday shopping, as this beer is only around for a limited time!
