KENT, Wash. (November 05, 2013/mbb/) – On Thursday, November 7th, the Airways Brewing Co. Beer & Bistro will celebrate two exciting years of growth with eleven Airways brews on tap—including a limited release—and complimentary dessert for patrons. This second location for Airways Brewing opened on November 1, 2011, and continues to draw craft beer lovers from around the country to downtown Kent, earning the Best Economic Engine award from the Kent Downtown Partnership earlier this year.

“It’s been a crazy ride, and we could not have done it without support from the local community,” said Alex Dittmar, cofounder and head brewer at Airways Brewing Company. “When we opened this location in 2011, we never imagined how quickly it would grow. We can’t thank our employees, business community, and customers enough for their continued support of Airways Brewing.”

Brewed just for the occasion is the Bistro Brown, a collaborative beer from the Airways team. Featuring 5.4 percent ABV and 30 IBUs, this light bodied, deep colored brown features a hazelnut bouquet with a roasted coffee and slightly sweet nut flavor. Brewed with Magnum and Golding hops, this limited edition beer will only be on draught at the Bistro.

The special lineup and dessert will be available as long as supplies last from 11 am to 9 pm at 320 W. Harrison St. in Kent Washington.  This event is open to the public. The Airways Beer & Bistro is a 21+ establishment.
