Sacramento, CA – Old Soul Co. is excited to announce the upcoming release of “The Sauce”, a craft coffee porter created in partnership with Ruhstaller of Sacramento. “The Sauce” is the second collaboration beer Old Soul has produced with Ruhstaller. The Kenyan, released earlier this year, sold out quickly and left fans anticipating the pair’s next project.
The Sauce is a porter style beer brewed with award winning beans from the famed Los Lajones Estate outside of Boquete, Panama. The Los Lajones Estate is owned and operated by Graciano Cruz, one of the most celebrated specialty coffee farmers in the world. Old Soul Co. is one of only two coffee roasting companies in California this year to obtain the farm’s Naturally Processed Lot #13 which is the base of “The Sauce” collaboration.
“The Sauce” is a limited release, produced in a custom 22oz bottle, at 230 cases produced. Available in coming weeks at markets in the Sacramento area including Corti Brothers, Taylor’s Market, Whole Foods and Nugget Market locations in addition to select specialty stores and restaurants statewide.
A Pre-Release party is planned for Saturday November 2nd. The “All Souls’ Day” Event is at Old Soul at The Weatherstone from 2pm-6pm. (Old Soul at The Weatherstone, 812 21st Street, Sacramento 95811)
The official Release Party for “The Sauce” will be held as part of Captain Frank Ruhstaller’s 167th Birthday Party on Thursday November 7th at Beatnik Studios (723 S Street in Downtown Sacramento). The event features old-fashioned carnival games and food prepared by Chef Brad Cecchi of Grange Restaurant. Proceeds benefit the non-profit Concerts 4 Charity Sacramento.
Tickets are available at https://hbdfrank.eventbrite.com/.
