Sun King - Flagon Slayer - Official Beer of Gen Con

Sun King and Gen Con reunite for another epic adventure and this time it's taking us outside, downtown, and on Georgia Street!  

There were 1600+ names submitted for the 2013 beer naming contest, more than 1300 votes tallied, and with your help, this year's Official Beer of Gen Con has been named Flagon Slayer!  (The style of this unique brew is a braggot. Stayed tuned for a final beer description from the SKB brewers!)  

To kick things off for Gen Con 2013, we are throwing a very special tapping party on Wednesday, August 14th at 6pm located on the West Block of Georgia Street in Sun King Beer Garden*.  Pints of Flagon Slayer, Sunlight Cream Ale, Wee Mac, and Osiris will be available for only $5.

Five Year Mission is the scheduled evening entertainment.  Five Year Mission is a group of musicians that have dedicated their musical and writing skills to performing songs about the original Star Trek series.  They are going to rock your socks off and help you live long and prosper!
