(Ipswich, MA) – In the spirit of July 4th, Battle Road Brewing Company is celebrating its independence by signing a new distribution agreement with Patriot Craft Alliance. The new distribution agreement will allow Battle Road Brewing Company to build upon its momentum and expand its distribution beyond the 200 bars and retail outlets currently offering its products.
The Patriot Craft Alliance is a group of five family owned Massachusetts distributors, including Blue Coast Beverage, Consolidated Beverages, Girardi Distributors, Quality Beverage LP, and Williams Distributing. These distributors have the common goals of bringing the most innovative and highest quality products to their respective accounts, while also providing their brewing partners with the best route of access to their consumers.
The alliance will be responsible for distribution of Battle Road Beers to their entire network of retail off-premise accounts and on premise bars, pubs, restaurants, and taverns.
“We made a decision to sign with Patriot Craft Beer Alliance based on their knowledge and expertise in the Craft Beer space,” said Jeremy Cross, co-founder of Battle Road Brewing Company. “PCA has established relationships and a solid track record of distributing some of the best craft beers in the marketplace. We are excited about the opportunities this relationships presents and look forward to bringing Battle Road to outlets across the Commonwealth.”
Battle Road Brewing Company currently has three distinct offerings. The 1775 Tavern Ale is the flagship brand, a light to medium bodied, unfiltered pale ale hopped with a single varietal – Slovenian Styrian Goldings. The Lexington Green East India Pale Ale is brewed from a trio of American grown hops to form a reddish brassy golden ale. Finally, Barrett’s Farmhouse Ale is a straw-gold rustic ale.
“We are thrilled to bring Battle Road Beers into the Patriot Craft Alliance family,” said Bill Lenahan of Quality Beverages and a member of the Patriot Craft Alliance. “Battle Road offers a high quality craft beer, brewed locally and evoking memories of the historic battles that created our country. We look forward to bringing this beer to every town and city in our great state.”
Founded in 2012, Battle Road Brewing Company takes its name from the history surrounding Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Battle Road refers to the Battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. These battles showcased the revolutionaries’ perseverance and resistance against tyranny, which would become the hallmarks of the American Revolution and of the fledgling United States of America.
“At Battle Road Brewing Company, we strive to embody the perseverance of the American Revolutionaries, as they fought for Independence,” said Scott Houghton, co-founder of Battle Road Beer. “We see that same element of perseverance with Patriot Craft Alliance and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
Battle Road Brewing Company is currently brewing its beers through Mercury Brewing Company in Ipswich, MA. For more information or to find a location, please visit www.battleroadbeer.com.
