Catawba Valley Brewing Coming To Morganton, NC

Another new brewery is opening in Asheville this summer, this time in the Biltmore Village area.

Catawba Valley Brewing, of Morganton, is building an expansion Asheville brewery at 2 Fairview Road at the the old Rankin Patterson Oil site near French Broad Brewing.

Catawba Valley will keep its main production brewery in Morganton and use the Asheville operation to brew “boutique” beers, Pyatt said.

The Asheville location will include a tasting room, patio, and a seven-barrel brewhouse. Catawba Valley will use the Asheville location as a staging area to send beer around Western North Carolina, he said.
