From Speakeasy:
Speakeasy Ales & lagers
announces the release of their newest limited series beer,Vendetta IPA. The citrusy IPA clocks in at 7.6% ABV, and is a big, bold addition to the Speakeasy lineup.
“This is the first year we’ve gotten to really go big with Citra and Amarillo hops,” said Brewmaster Kushal Hall. “The beer turned out exactly as we wanted it. There’s a clean citrusy aroma with just enough biscuit and caramel malt to bring out the fruitiness of the hops.”
Bigger than most IPAs but not quite a Double IPA, Hall adds of the beer, “Vendetta hits a sweet spot that perfectly balances the massive hop aromatics without being too strong.”
Vendetta will be drying up in June to make way for Speakeasy’s next limited series beer, Butchertown Black Ale. Until then, it will be available in 22 oz. bottles and on draft in select craft beer bars across California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and Washington DC.
Speakeasy Ales & Lagers has been making quality craft beer in San Francisco since 1997.
