From Brick Brewing:

KITCHENER, ON Canada, April 23, 2013 /mbb/ - Brick Brewing Co. Limited (BRB.TO) today announced the launch of its Seagram Cider mix pack with a great variety of Apple, Pear and Amber ciders. "These ciders are brewed with 100% Canadian apples and pears" said Russell Tabata, Chief Technical Officer, Brick Brewing. "Our apple cider is a classic English dry cider. Seagram Pear Cider is as distinctive as the fruit used to make it. It's just delicious. Our Amber Cider has an amazing hint of caramel colour and taste. And it's the only Amber Cider available at the LCBO." The Seagram cider mix pack will be the only pack of its kind and is poised to take advantage of a cider category that grew by more than 65% at the LCBO last year.

"We had great plans for the Seagram brand when we purchased it in March of 2011 that are now arriving in the marketplace" offered George Croft, President and CEO of Brick Brewing. "These Seagram Ciders are finely crafted products. The taste, colour and sheer drinking enjoyment these three ciders deliver make them quite simply outstanding. Hopefully the people of Ontario will appreciate these ciders as much as we enjoyed making them. This launch complements all our Seagram new product activity that has been happening at the LCBO over the last year. Seagram now offers a great mix of subtly flavoured, all natural, pure spring water coolers and ciders."

Seagram Apple Cider was recently recognized with a silver medal by Monde Selection, the International Institute for Quality Selections based in Belgium, for its superior product quality.
