Innspire Pty Ltd still owes us NZ$27,112.86 today, as per the Letter of Demand we sent them on 3rd December 2012. Dave Andrews, the proprietor of Innspire Pty Ltd, a company now in liquidation, owes us absolutely nothing himself according to law. But Dave Andrews the man, via email, has promised several times to pay us fully (plus interest, which we had told him we were not interested in). I’m calling him out here. Feel free to call me a nark.
We’re not the first to get stung like this, we won’t be the last, and we certainly won’t be the most hurt. Innspire owes AU$449,780 according to their liquidators, and that sum only had Yeastie Boys down for about 15% of what we are actually owed (there are at least two other breweries in New Zealand who are due significant amounts… who knows how many debts to other breweries have not been uncovered). Some of these breweries, if not all, are probably in situations where their cashflow problems could be very much alleviated by this.
