From Shoreline Brewery:

Michigan City,IN It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here. Shoreline Brewery and Restaurant is now bottling beer for distribution. The three-time World Beer Cup Award winning Beltaine Scottish Ale and Sum Nug India Pale Ale are the first two standard beers on tap to be bottled in 22oz bottles for consumers.

In celebration, Shoreline will recognize the weekend of March 8-10 as Shoreline’s Bottle Release Weekend. All three days, Shoreline will have individual bottles or cases of 12 available to the public for a discounted price.

Award winning Beltaine Scottish Ale is the number one selling beer at Shoreline, and celebrates the start of spring each year on May 1st. It has a rich amber color and hints of caramel, making it an extremely easy drinking beer. The International Bittering Units (IBU) is 56.5, the Alcohol by Volume (ABV) is 5.49%, and the Standard Reference Method (SRM) is 44.61.

Sum Nug India Pale Ale is a blending of Summit and Nugget hops, making a great combination. Being super hoppy from start to finish with a huge malt backbone makes this beer an instant favorite. The IBU is 91.85, the ABV is 7.26%, and the SRM is 16.59. These two beers are the perfect choices to be the first bottled at Shoreline.
