From Golden Road Brewing:

Los Angeles, CA  - Golden Road Brewing is pleased to announce the newest addition to their canned beer line-up: Get Up Offa That Brown. The traditional English-style Brown, complete with chocolate-y malt notes and a smoky-sweet aroma has been a draft-only favorite since its introduction in early 2012, and the Golden Road team is thrilled to have the opportunity to can and package the popular beer for distribution.

As President Meg Gill notes, “This is one of the first beers we knew we wanted to make, and we couldn’t be happier with the results and how well the beer has been received. Browns don’t traditionally get a lot of love, but everyone loves this beer.”

The new cans feature a distinctive image of the famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood, and the 5.5% ABV Brown will be sold in Golden Road’s signature 4-pack. Get Up Offa That Brown will be available year-round, and on the shelves in Whole Foods Markets across Los Angeles beginning Monday, January 21st.

About Golden Road Brewing:
Golden Road Brewing was founded in 2011 by Tony Yanow (of local beer-focused restaurants Tony's Darts Away and Mohawk Bend) and Meg Gill (formerly of Oskar Blues Brewery and Speakeasy Ales & Lagers). Before opening Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, Tony consulted with Meg on picking top craft breweries in California for his ambitious state-wide beer list. They immediately realized they shared a vision around building a brewery to deliver fresh beer to locals.
