An old stomping ground of mine in the pre-craft beer era…Hyannis MA will be getting more beer from Cape Cod Beer as they expand into an additional 4000 sq. ft. facility, upping their production to 372,000 gallons.  Details from Cape Cod Times:

HYANNIS — Cape Cod Beer plans on expanding into a second nearby building early next year. The new 4,000-square-foot facility will handle "post-brewing" operations such as fermentation, packaging and storage of the beer, co-owner Beth Marcus said.

By adding eight new tanks to its current stock of 21, the brewery will increase its annual brewing capacity from 310,000 gallons of beer to 372,000. The brewery operates at full capacity during the summer.

For all of 2011, the business brewed about 133,300 gallons of beer. This year, Marcus said, it's on pace to 148,800 gallons.
