Some expansion news coming from Captain Lawrence today:
With Thanksgiving coming next week, we here at Captain Lawrence definitely have a lot to be thankful for. Two brand new fermentation tanks have arrived at the brewery which will increase our capacity to over 25,000 barrels a year. It also enables us to brew more style of beer at once so we can have more of a variety in route to the stores.
With the start of the holidays kicking off with "Turkey Day", the last of our pumpkin ale will be brought out to our tasting room for everyone to fill up their growlers to share with their families... or just have their own private stash!!! In addition to the last of the pumpkin ale, we will have both smoked porter and winter ale on tap. This will mark the first batch of winter ale which will become a seasonal fixture in our expanding line up. The tasting room will be closed for thanksgiving day but will have normal hours all week long. And right after the over eating/drinking with family and friends, be sure to get out to the tasting room November 29th for the 'Stationary Set'. The band is performing live at the brewery for the NEXT Charity Music Series supporting Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
