We brought you the news (and recipe) for Susquehanna Brewing Co.'s new Peach Pumpkinberry. With that brew close to completion, our pal Jaime Jurado is putting out some details of an upcoming Harvest Lager. According to Jaime:
As Peachpumpkinberry ends fermentation in combitank 7 tomorrow and begins getting chilled down to 36 degrees for ageing, we prepare for a new Harvest brew, a lager, on Weds. Expecting our special fresh component to get harvested and overnighted tomorrow so hopefully sharing photos on Weds.
Confirmation that our special arrival is as planend so tomorrow(9/19) we grind-in at 7:00 a.m. for a special Helles lager destined for draught only. Page 2 of the recipe gives away the plot. Photos tomorrow.
UPDATE: Fred Maier points out the contrast between our whole leaf Liberty hops in one hand and fresh wet Centennials in the other...which will be consumed in today's brew at the rate of 1 lb fresh, wet hops per barrel....added at our hopjack.
