Jester King - Funk’n Sour Fest 10/20

A funky sour event coming from Jester King on 10/20:

On Saturday, October 20th from noon to 4pm we’ll begin Austin Beer Week by hosting our Second Annual Funk n’ Sour Fest at Jester King. Funk n’ Sour Fest is a celebration of the wild yeast and souring bacteria that are responsible for the sour and funky beers brewed here at Jester King and at other small, artisan brewers around the world.

Only 350 tickets will be made available for the event. Tickets are $30 each and include a Second Annual Funk n’ Sour Fest t-shirt (shirt image pictured above), a souvenir Funk n’ Sour Fest glass, admission, access to and use of brewery grounds, a tour of the brewery and on-site parking.

We’ll also be offering free 3 oz. sample pours of the all of the following beers.

Jester King Boxer’s Revenge Barrel Aged Wild Ale (10.2%)
Jester King Das Wunderkind! Sour Saison (4.5%)
Jester King Buddha’s Brew (4.7%)
Jester King Funk Metal Sour Barrel Aged Stout (8.2%)
Jester King Yet to be named Flanders-Style Sour Red Ale (7.3%)
Jester King Yet to be named Flanders-Style Sour Brown Ale (5.9%)
Jester King Bonnie the Rare Berliner Weisse (3.7%)
Mikkeller Funk E Star (9.4%)
Mikkeller Young Spontanale (5.0%)
De Proef Flemish Primitive (9.0%)
…and a few surprises!

We’ll also have some Le Petit Prince Farmhouse Table Beer available as a calibration beer.
