Not really sure who fired the first shot, but Rhode Island’s Grey Sail Brewing is suing Oregon’s Full Sail over a naming dispute.  From OregonLive:

WESTERLY, R.I. -- The owners of a Rhode Island microbrewery have filed a federal lawsuit in an attempt to keep using their nautical brand name.

Jennifer Brinton, an owner of Grey Sail Brewing Co. in Westerly, tells the Westerly Sun the company acted preemptively after receiving a phone call from Hood River-based Full Sail Brewing Co. telling them they must stop using the Grey Sail name and logo.

Brinton says her company is asking a U.S. District Court judge in Providence to rule the two companies can co-exist.

Grey Sail started production in November and is sold only along the Rhode Island and Connecticut shoreline. According to its website, Full Sail is distributed in 29 states, including Rhode Island.

A hearing is scheduled for June 27.
