Port Brewing – FNG Ale

imageHere’s a new keg-only label from Port Brewing called FNG Ale.  I don’t know about you, but in my first job FNG stood for “F&^**ing New Guy” and with Jeff Bagby leaving, this is perhaps a tribute to his replacement.  Yes I’m making up my own story here, but it seems plausible.

    Jeff Babgy headed Pizza Port Brewing, not Port Brewing and his former assistant brewer Nacho has already taken his place.

    From what I've heard, FNG is a west coast pale ale (read hoppy) produced just for the New Jersey market. The name is short for the word with which Garden State natives usually precede "New Jersey"
