Jeff Bagby Leaving Pizza Port / Port Brewing–Real Ale Festival Ends in 2012

Looks like Pizza Port Brewing’s multi-GABF award winning Jeff Bagby will soon be leaving Pizza Port to open his own brewpub somewhere in North County San Diego).  Should be exciting to follow along as this new venture and new beers hit the market so stay tuned.  More details HERE from the San Diego Reader.

As an update here…I’m hearing from my family out on the left coast that the Pizza Port Real Ale festival in Carlsbad, will be held for the LAST time in 2012!  This is a festival I’ve attended several times, and it will be sadly missed.  Very bad news for sure if it is true.
