Label Text Redrum:

“On October 30, 1974, Stephen King and his wife stayed alone at the Stanley Hotel where the eerie atmosphere and empty corridors left a haunting impression. That night, a vivid nightmare of his son being chased through the halls inspired King to write The Shining. Redrum amber ale I perfectly balanced with toasty malt, herbal & citrus hops & a dry finish.”

Label Test The Shining:

“On October 30, 1974, Stephen King and his wife stayed alone at the Stanley Hotel where the eerie atmosphere and empty corridors left a haunting impression. That night, a vivid nightmare of his son being chased through the halls inspired King to write The Shining. The Shining IPA is a west coast IPA with grapefruit & pine aromas balanced by bright citrus and melon notes.”

About Left Hand Brewing Company:

Left Hand Brewing Company, founded in Longmont, Colorado, is one of the original pioneers in craft brewing. From a humble homebrew kit beginning to becoming one of the top 50 craft breweries in the U.S., Left Hand has continued to grow and innovate throughout our 30+ year history. Famous for our Nitro series, Left Hand launched America’s original Nitro bottle with our flagship Milk Stout Nitro and the first production run of U.S.- made Nitro widget cans. We’re proud to be one of the most honored and recognized breweries in Colorado with 31 Great American Beer Festival medals,11 World Beer Cup awards and nine European Beer Star awards. Our collection of year-round and seasonal beers is available in 46 states, DC and internationally. To learn more, please visit www.lefthandbrewing.com.

It all started with a humble homebrew kit and a desire to elevate the craft beer scene in the U.S.

Growing up in an Air Force family, Left Hand Founder Eric Wallace traveled the globe from a young age and continued his journey of exploration as an adult during his own time in the Air Force. Inspired by the rich, diverse beer styles he encountered in Europe and frustrated by the lack of options back home, Eric set out to brew the kind of beer he craved. What began as a hobby soon turned into a passion, and in September 1993, Left Hand Brewing was born in Longmont, Colorado. Over thirty years later, we're still crafting innovative beers and building community around great brews.

When the mainstream goes right, we go left.

When other breweries were adding concentrates to wheat beer, we were hand-juicing ginger for Good Juju. When the industry told us American Nitro beer couldn't be bottled, we invented it. When we saw the need to provide disaster relief and community giving at home, we started the Left Hand Brewing Foundation. When we wanted to support those who fight Multiple Sclerosis, we raised millions for the National MS Society and became a National Sponsor for Bike MS.

Damn good people brewing damn good beer.

It's been a roller coaster of a journey over the past 30+ years, but we thrive on overcoming and constantly raising the beer bar. We're not guided by what anybody else is doing, and we've always been proud of what we stamp our left hand of approval on. We're our toughest critics and your biggest fans, meaning we always strive to brew what's best: for beer, for you, and for the places we live, work and play.
